On February 16, 2023, a digital and fintech-forward super-community bank, and the bank subsidiary of Customers Bancorp, Inc. Customer Bank, announced the launch of a new Loan Syndications Banking Team. The launch further expands the bank’s leading services for lead deals and marker businesses to help existing and future national lines of business of the banks.
The primary focus of the Loan Syndications Banking Team would be on clients in the commercial real estate, fund finance, healthcare, venture technology and financial institution sectors as well as middle market businesses who serve the administrative agent or joint lead arranger. In addition, the team provides loan syndication process management and customized syndication banking solutions to clients.
With his 12 years of expertise in larger institutional debt loans and syndication to the bank, Kyle Silberman has been hired as a Managing Director and Head of Loan Syndications. Silberman was previously the head of syndications at Amerant Bank and held senior-level positions in the syndications departments of CIBC US and Fifth Third Bank.
Over the coming quarters, Silberman will focus on the middle market client and team expansion. The banking team offers clients access to capital for acquisitions, expansions and growth, dividend recapitalization, leveraged and management buyouts, private equity/financial sponsors, second lien/last out term loan financing, and growth capex.
